So here goes:
1.I almost died in a car accident when I was 2 years old. My family was hit by a drunk driver on our way home from Hedemuenden to Bonn-Bad Godesberg. My father and grandmother died then. My mother and I survived. She was in coma for 21days and I for 3. Thank God we got out of it alive. But it's been hard on my mom all the years after that accident.
2. (Pun intended) I obeyed the commandment : "Love thy neighbor" when I fell in love with our "next-door neighbor" (and married him!), after much searching and being in love with love itself. My hubby is my closest friend, my enemy (we bicker everyday), my confidante, my knight-in-rusted-shining-armor all rolled into one.
3. I love Kimchi, yes, that staple food from Korea. It's so pungent and spicy. There isn't a month that I don't crave for it. But I heard it's good for health, so I just enjoy it!
4. I daydreamed a lot as an adolescent. The daydreams I had were that... I led a diva's life, so internationally popular despite being from the Philippines. Someone who was a great singer and a great actress. and so popular, socially welcome, a missing member of royalty (like princess diaries). Come to think of it... that would be Lea Salonga and Kris Aquino now. Two of my favorites. I really had those daydreams back then to comfort me during my bad moments. Part of it they inspired me in writing stories that were "honestly" crappy, but these daydreams materialized in real life to people I don't know personally.
5. I am not a sociably mature person. Basically I'm just shy and reserved. I only get out of my shell when I feel I need to say something, which rarely happens. Why so? I grew up on constantly watching tv shows and movies, trying to learn socially from them. ( I know, my social life is so bad!) then years later I realized I picked the wrong kind of people to emulate. Anyways, I'm learning.
6.I think I am an unusual mom. Anyone might cringe to see me and my kids together. I am my four young boys' "elder sister" not because I look young, but I act silly when I'm with them. I just wonder why. During light moments, it's been a habit of mine to argue with them or to engage in an immature conversation punctuated with their kid language. I must be getting old backwards ;-) But there's the fifth member of the family whom we need to set a good example for.
7. I am a survivor and an overcomer. I have survived the bad times in my life - of which I have yet to divulge. I have overcome all these by the power of what I think/say and my faith in God.

The Health Benefits Of Pomegranate
EVERY SEED OF POMEGRANATE WHICH GOES IN YOUR STOMACH IS A SEED OF LIFE FOR YOUR HEART
Two things are full of benefits for the human being, lukewarm water and pomegranate. Pomegranate is a seasonal fruit so I tried an experiment with dried pomegranate seeds(DRY ANARDANA), prepared a decoction boiling the fistful of dried seeds in half litre of water for 10 minutes, squeezed the seeds, strained the decoction and advised those patients suffering from painful angina to use a glass of lukewarm decoction on an empty stomach in the morning, amazing result was observed, the decoction of dried pomegranate seeds worked like a magic, the feelings of tightness and heaviness of chest and the pain had gone,
It encouraged me to try more experiments on all types of cardiac patients so I tried other experiments on patients who were suffering from painful angina, coronary arterial blockage, cardiac ischemia (insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle) etc, waiting for a bypass surgery, the same lukewarm decoction was used empty stomach in the morning, the patients experienced quick relief in all symptoms including painful condition
In another case of coronary arterial blockage the patient started using half glass of fresh pomegranate juice everyday for one year, although all symptoms were completely relieved within a week but he continued taking it for a whole year, it completely reversed the plaque build-up and unblocked his arteries to normal, the angiography report confirmed the evidence, thus decoction of dried pomegranate seeds, fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning proved to be a miracle cure for cardiac patients,
But the lukewarm dried seeds decoction proved to be more effective compared to eating a whole pomegranate or fresh pomegranate juice, use of pomegranate in any way has demonstrated even more dramatic effects as blood thinner, pain killing properties for cardiac patients, lowers LDL (low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol) and raises the HDL (high-density lipoprotein or good cholesterol) , there are more than 50 different types of heart diseases the most common being coronary artery disease (CAD), which is the number one killer of both women and men in some countries, and there has been no medicinal cure for this disease, many cardiac patients have reversed their heart diseases on my advice using one glass of lukewarm decoction of pomegranate dried seeds, half glass of fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning, it was the very first real breakthrough in the history of cardiology to successfully treat the cardiac diseases by a fruit, The more super foods to obtain the even faster results for cardiac patients which are most promising curative and protective agents like fresh raisins, quince, guava, prunes (dried plums), natural vinegar, mixture of grape fruit juice and honey in the morning (empty stomach), basil leaves, chicory leaves, powder of oregano leaves and rock salt in equal quantity (in case the patient is not hypertensive) and sesame oil as cooking oil for cardiac patients.
It is regretted to say that treating the heart patients and bypass surgery has become far more profitable business around the world which has failed to help avert life threatening heart attacks and life time cardiac complications resulting in almost paralyzed life. A regular use of pomegranate in any way ensures a healthy cardiac life, thinning your blood, dissolving the blood clots and obstruction inside the coronary arteries, maintains an optimal blood flow, supports a healthy blood pressure, prevents and reverses atherosclerosis. (Thickening of the internal lining of the blood vessels) from whatever I experienced and observed in last several years, I can say:

Why Moringa Is Good For You

Most parents tell their children to eat as much green, leafy vegetable
as they can because it will make them healthy. Not all parents, however,
really know why green, leafy vegetables are beneficial for a person’s
health. The simple explanation for this is that vegetables contain a lot
of nutrients and vitamins that the body needs to fight against
infections or diseases. These components are also important for boosting
a person’s energy level to enable him or her to do tasks without
getting tired or fatigued easily. Vegetables, unlike meat, are simply
eliminated from a person’s body after its nutrients are extracted and
does not cause any build-up of harmful substances such as cholesterol.
Since it cannot be digested by a person’s system, its by-products also
help in cleansing a person’s digestive tract. Among the different green,
leafy vegetables, however, there is one that specially stands out above
the rest. It is scientifically called Moringa oleifera or in common
terms the drumstick tree, horseradish tree, malunggay in the
Philippines, or sijan in India.
A lot of researchers who have spent some time studying about the health
benefits of Moringa label the plant as the miracle tree. Most people who
use this vegetable as part of their daily consumption are usually those
who are in the lower socio-economic status, thus, it has also earned
the label “poor man’s food.” The Moringa tree is easy to cultivate and
easily grows even in areas that do not have much water for plant
sustenance. This is why even in countries such as Senegal in West Africa
where malnutrition and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) are
widespread, it can be accessed by a lot of people as a source of
nutritional supplements. It is also fast-growing and drought-resistant,
thus, can be utilized immediately if needed and sustainable for a longer
period of time.
Most sources indicate that the Moringa tree contains vitamin C which is
seven times more than the amount found in oranges, has four times
calcium content and twice more protein amount than milk, four time the
amount of vitamin A than in carrots, and three times the
potassium-content of bananas. One study conducted in the Philippines has
proven that malunggay, the Filipino name of Moringa, when consumed
daily by malnourished children, can solve most of the malnutrition
problem in the country. Aside from these components, Moringa is also
known to contain a lot of iron, beta-carotene, and anti-oxidant. Another
study has discovered that Moringa can help poor women during their
pregnancy and their babies remain healthy by providing most of the
nutrients needed for their growth and by increasing the milk production
of the mothers during lactation. Aside from these, the plant can also be
used to treat or relieve infections, inflammations, arthritis pain,
diabetes, and cancer. It is also said to be an effective skin antiseptic
and good for stabilizing blood pressure. It has a soothing effect that
it is also used by native people as a treatment for anxiety.
What makes this miracle tree and vegetable really wonderful is its
affordability and accessibility. Unlike most medicine or treatments, it
can be utilized even by those who have financial limitations to prevent
or cure illnesses. In countries like India and Philippines, the
government already includes in their programs the inclusion of growing
these trees especially in rural areas to be consumed by the people. They
have also provided campaigns to educate the people about the
nutritional benefits of the Moringa and various ways of cooking it and
using it as treatment. Now, because of this tree, even the poorest of
the poor can be healthy and free from ailments. The provision of this
highly beneficial plant, especially among financially-challenged people,
is almost like divine intervention which is probably why it is indeed a
miracle tree.
