Tagged! "7 Random Things About Myself"
Thanks to Christine of Humble Pen for this tag, sorry it took me so long to get this done as I was always interrupted at work and at home. (I am usually squeamish about revealing things about myself but I'll be brave this time, be a sport and let my followers in .)
How the game works:
*Link to the person that tagged you (just did that)
*Post the rules on your blog
*Share seven interesting things about yourself
*Tag seven people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs ... people you would like to know more.
*Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
So here goes:
1.I almost died in a car accident when I was 2 years old. My family was hit by a drunk driver on our way home from Hedemuenden to Bonn-Bad Godesberg. My father and grandmother died then. My mother and I survived. She was in coma for 21days and I for 3. Thank God we got out of it alive. But it's been hard on my mom all the years after that accident.
2. (Pun intended) I obeyed the commandment : "Love thy neighbor" when I fell in love with our "next-door neighbor" (and married him!), after much searching and being in love with love itself. My hubby is my closest friend, my enemy (we bicker everyday), my confidante, my knight-in-rusted-shining-armor all rolled into one.
3. I love Kimchi, yes, that staple food from Korea. It's so pungent and spicy. There isn't a month that I don't crave for it. But I heard it's good for health, so I just enjoy it!
4. I daydreamed a lot as an adolescent. The daydreams I had were that... I led a diva's life, so internationally popular despite being from the Philippines. Someone who was a great singer and a great actress. and so popular, socially welcome, a missing member of royalty (like princess diaries). Come to think of it... that would be Lea Salonga and Kris Aquino now. Two of my favorites. I really had those daydreams back then to comfort me during my bad moments. Part of it they inspired me in writing stories that were "honestly" crappy, but these daydreams materialized in real life to people I don't know personally.
5. I am not a sociably mature person. Basically I'm just shy and reserved. I only get out of my shell when I feel I need to say something, which rarely happens. Why so? I grew up on constantly watching tv shows and movies, trying to learn socially from them. ( I know, my social life is so bad!) then years later I realized I picked the wrong kind of people to emulate. Anyways, I'm learning.
6.I think I am an unusual mom. Anyone might cringe to see me and my kids together. I am my four young boys' "elder sister" not because I look young, but I act silly when I'm with them. I just wonder why. During light moments, it's been a habit of mine to argue with them or to engage in an immature conversation punctuated with their kid language. I must be getting old backwards ;-) But there's the fifth member of the family whom we need to set a good example for.
7. I am a survivor and an overcomer. I have survived the bad times in my life - of which I have yet to divulge. I have overcome all these by the power of what I think/say and my faith in God.

Removing Gallstones Naturally
REMOVING GALLSTONES NATURALLY...???
By: Dr.Lai Chiu Nan
It has worked for many. If it works for you please pass on the good news. Chiu Nan is not charging for it, so we should make it free for everyone. Your reward is when someone, through your word of mouth, benefits from the regime. Gallstones may not be everyone's concern. But they should be because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may l
ead to cancer. "Cancer is never the first illness," Chiu Nan points out. "Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer.
In my research in China , I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few.
One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area." So if you think you have gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally.
The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked.
Regimen:
1. For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.
2. On the sixth day, take no dinner.
3. At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
4. At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
5. At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.
PS. 1cup=250ml, ? cup lemon juice=3 lemons (aprox.)
The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. "Usually they float," Chiu Nan notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many."
"Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.
Now you know!!!!

Moisturising Qualities Of Milk
Milk takes good care of your skin. It is known to possess good cleansing properties; in fact, the name of some skincare products contain the word "milk" in them. Even Cleopatra during her time, was said to bathe in milk as part of her skincare regimen. To use milk powder as a moisturizer: (Best to do this in the morning)Make a paste with milk powder and just the right amount of water. Gently massage all over your face and leave on for 1-2 minutes. Rinse gently, always be careful not to tug your skin.
To use fresh milk as a moisturizer: Dip a cotton ball in just enough milk to soak. Gently apply on you face and leave on for 1-2 minutes. Rinse gently and pat dry.
