I'm Back On Ebay, wow!
I'm back into selling all sorts of stuff. It's really a call of urgency. We really need to have extra income due to the daily expenses we have, and since no one among us has been really earning because hubby is going to caregiver school until December. I'm the only breadwinner for now ha-ha staying positive on this =)
People here in our town/ street, must think I'm funny when they ask me what do I do. Usually, I'm kinda slow in thinking of an answer, I just quickly reply "Nothing, I don't have a job". But to others I get to talk to again, I say yes I sell lots of stuff on the internet - at ebay and multiply and auction.ph and sulit.com.ph ... plenty others..
Last week, I began letting go of my disappointment over eBay and went back to list items. It's been quite a time that I quit due to the change of rules: seller's right to leave negative feedback for non-paying and abusive bidders. I really needed that option due to the plenty of joybidders that come and go, and may I say I need that too for those winning bidders who let you wait for ages for their payment. (This is my message: meron po akong mga terms and conditions, and bidding on ebay is considered a contract kaya pakibasa na lang pong mabuti and sumunod naman po kayo sa rules. I follow my ebay duties to the letter- always)
I went back because I realized it is still the most popular auction website. I also noticed that during the time I was away, there were plenty of my faved sellers still there (hanging on and nakikipagsapalaran) . Yeah, there were others too who quit despite their high feedback rate for reasons I wonder.
For now I'm selling all I can. I'm getting eBay fever searching around me what else to sell ;-). Even the Jeep featured above. That's my hubby's friend's jeep and it's low-priced considering that it is in great running condition.
I'm also selling my collection of used and mint stamps- from my Oma Minna's collection dating back to 1935 in Germany and my father's and mother's stamp collections. I might write a blog about that soon. Because I'm amazed that I still have them.
I also sell factory second items from the US ( what you call ukay-ukay here) clothes mostly, and if you trawl through the list you will also find electronic gadgets, antiques, health products, etc. See my list, feel free to bid.... just don't make me cry!
But hey, in fairness, I've sold well recently. Everyday I received bids for items I sell and I got fast payers. Considering that it's only been a week since I started. (hmm, just got a few joybidders - just 3- and I've reported them to ebay after the 5 day period)
If you want to sell on eBay too, let me know maybe I could give you my two-cents' worth of advice. I just got all my knowledge thru the forums anyways :P
